Topamax & Urination? - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

I am on my 3rd day on topamax and I feel like it is making me feel weird when I go pee, its not hurting but it feels weird almost like its going to hurt but it does not. Aaahhh. ( I know its not a uti or std ) any one elce experience this or hear of it? ~ Kittyy

Nope, the wife has vision issue with this med.

Drink lots of water! Without enough water it can make you feel that way.

BTW: My vision was also affected. It got "jumpy" Almost a wide awake REM type feel...

I noticed that I seemed to be in the bathroom more often.

I also had the visual affect. For awhile I saw what I called trails, but only at night I had to give up night driving until I aclimated to the medicine. I am no longer taking it.
