I am not sure of the name, but there is an ADHD doc out there that has developed a diet for ADHD. The basis of the diet is avoiding carbs and refined sugars (like Adkins) which from what I understand is an extreme craving for most ADHD sufferers. My neice is ADHD, her mother is Bipolar and I have noticed with my neice that she must eat more meals than most people and she is worst without eating. She too sped up on Aldoral (sp?), took it twice and twiched for one year after. Then my father is on St. John's Wart for his Bipolar disorder. He is on mandatory counseling (in trouble with the law), but I do not see a difference in his behavior on the manic side (the constant lying, exagerating stories and EXTREME ANGER). He is however less teary eyed, but still easily evoked. You do seem to be in a predicament, so good luck and remember patience is the key.
Try yoga, you would not belive what it can do for the mind and body, it will help to keep you centered and in focus on now. please try it, start with a begining class and take it for what its worth, good luck kimber lee
