Question Heat, water, and BP meds?

It is getting pretty warm outside and I had a question about water intake and meds. I know when you are on Lithium you should drink lots of water, but I was outside yesterday for a couple hours and drank plenty of water. I still felt unrefreshed by the water and miserable. Does too much water do something to electrolyte levels? Should I be drinking Gatorade instead?

Re: Heat, water, and BP meds?

Don't know about lithium, but seroquel (only 150mg a day)_raises your internal body temp about 2-3 degrees, and in the summer sun, all I need to do is run up some stairs to break out in a full sweat, and labour gives me heat/sun stroke where i puke and get spinny, though I drink 2 or 3 2 litre pop bottles of water with a 1/2 tea spoon of salt and a little lemon in it over a 8 hour day
