Help My Cousin! - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

Alright my cousin is like 22 years old i kinda feel bad for her cause she has bp and schizo. She is stuck in tough spot right now, iuno whats wrong with her but sometimes her eyes roll up but then it goes down after half an hour or so. She really wants to go back to school to get a degree and make decent cash but shes too afraid her eyes will go up in class. So right now she is working at the mall and isnt very happy. I really know my cousin is a sweet person but sometimes she gets very angry then happy out of no where. I'm a bit mad cause shes dating some guy who is totally taking advantage of her because she is mentally sick, and telling her "I love you and stuff." It makes me sick to the stomach how much of a creep this guy is. My cousin lent him $2000 for his car to fix and he goes to blow it all on a computer. Err.. my cousin gives him money for him to stay with him i think. She thinks she will never find another guy like her just cause shes bp, and schizo. What should I do about my cousins school and bf? Advise please...

hi , im bipolar , well i can tell you love your cousin, let me tell ya the only way she is going to learn about life (especcially with this yucko boyfriend of hers) is to make the mistakes and learn from them, let her make the mistakes and she will soon realize what an idiot he is as soon as she gets a grip on her self esteem (even if it is a passing moment, maybe she will see it)just encourage her to do best for HER, and dont put him down in front of her becasue maybe this kickin it with creepo is accually good for her in the long run, shell learn, but let her make the mistake, she doenst see anything wrong with what shes doing so dont confuse her , i guess just encourrage her with other things, hey or maybe have her invite him over and the 3 0r 4 0f you MAybe you have a bo you can all get together and you can make her see that hes just not attentive enough or make her see that hes a dummy or something, im sure you can figure out something]creative to conjure up. ok good luck kimber

bout the eye thing i never had bipolar but i heard thats a common problem which can be dangerous because it sometimes affects the mouth very commonly. The companys don't really talk about it, because well there medication companies and they are evil *******s.
