zombie on meds

I've BPD. A few months ago my doctor suggested I take Lamictal, and I went from 25mg up to 200mg. These were the worst 3 months of my life! I went into such a depression, insomnia, panick. I didnt go out or see anyone for 2 months, I couldn't think of my life, future, nothing. I wished I could just fall asleep and wake up a few months later, when "things" will be over (I didnt want to die, just didnt want to deal with present). Now I know I felt like a complete zombie. I have finally changed the meds, and after just 1 week feelling much better! Clear headed and more normal.

Have you ever felt like that on medication that is supposed to help you?

Re: zombie on meds

The wife has been a zombie several times. Heck, one nite she fell into the closet and just layed there. However, it does take time and trying diff meds to find the one or two or three or four or five or ect.... that work.
