Ruth, Lithium for 20 years?

Ruth I read one of your post where it says something about lithium and, I think, If I am remembering correctly, that I read you have been taking it for twenty years. Is this so? Asking because I may consider this med for myself, thx, pinkee

Mud here, I think you are correct about Ruth's post.
My wife has been on it for about 1 year or so. There are many diff forms of this stuff. Including liquid. That's what my wife is on currently. It seems to have reduced some of the side effects for her.

Hi Pink

I have been on Lithium for 20 years with a break of about 18 months somewhere in the 90's!

It worked very well for me tho with various anti dep's but I am about to have Depakote added to the mix as I have been in a persistant depressive state for months and months.

Give it a go, tho take it with food to lessen side effects. Drink plenty and get your bloods done and see what happens.
