Hi I am new here, just wanted to introduce myself. I go by the name cougarwild22. I use to belong to another support group a few years back, but then I went by a different name. I was diagnosed as being bp (not sure of 1 or 2), was never told by doctor, back on June 25, 2003. I am currently on lacmitical 200 mg per day, plus trileptal 300mg a day. Tried to go without the trileptal for awhile, didn't stay as stable tho. That's about all I know to say at this point, giving that I am new and don't want to type your ears off.

Hi cougarwild22 it's nice to have u here. I still am rather new but jump in where I can. I was recently dx in nov lst year with bp and ptsd. I take wellbutrin and lamictal topomax and sereqoel yeah that's my cocktail this month at present...Well hope to get to know you and look forward to hearing more about what brings you here and well just about u in general...Sorry never good at topic starters yikes......

Welcome to the boards.

Feel free to ask anything, we can help with most questions.

I am also taking lamictal (for three weeks now) and am curious as to your experience with the med. Good and bad. Have you had any side effects?

It would help if you new exactly what bipolar you were if it is one or two. That way you might be able to learn a little more about your illness and how to cope with it better.

Hello:

Being new to the boards to, and coming to grips with my own bp disorder, I have found this board to be very usefull. Infact I am quite grateful it exists. I take Depakote and Paxil. They seem to do the job for me. Take it easy.
