i was wondering if anyone could tell me how well this works and if it works well for depression?if anyone could tell me how there doing on it i would appreciate it,i am thinking about mentioning it to my gf and to see if she would be interested.she didnt want a prescription drug but i was curious as to how this pill works,so if anyone could give me some info i would appreciate it.
as it is lithium i wouldnt have thought it would be good for depression specifically. i would think more for bipolar, mood swings... if she is strictly depressed then maybe not the best choice. of course im not sure about the organic lithium orotate (serenity) product itself, ive been trying to find people who have used it. i am on lithium carbonate for bipolar with success, mind you it doesnt change your mood so much and suddenly make you happy. it just sort of prevents you from swinging excessively high or excessively low if your mind is inclined to do so. is she "depressed" or bipolar?
i am not really sure, she was on a med<cant rem what it was> for depression but she didnt stick with it and never went back to the doctor, she says she is depressed and i think it might be that but i am not sure how bi polar is?she has mood swings, mostly she is good but she gets so down and she just feels nothing ya know,so i think she might just be depressed.but she has been like this for half her life and i believe it runs in her family, her sis and mom as well.i would like her to go back to another doctor and get the help she needs but she is very stubborn and puts things off.i was just wondering if there is anything she could take maybe over the counter to see if that would help at all because i am having a hard time to get her in the doctors, plus i am in a different state so that dosnt help either.but if any suggestions for over the counter things i would appreciate it.i dont know much of things out there and i would research anything first before i would even let her consider it and i would like her to go back to the docs if i could get her there.so i am kinda in a pickle and any info would be greatly appreciated.thanks a bunch for replying to me it means alot.
I'm trying to figure this Serenity thing out. There's no way that the FDA would allow Lithium ((a highly dangerous medication... anyone on it is required to have monthly checkups and bloodwork, if not more often)) in any form other than prescription. This sounds like all those diet pills that had effedrine in them... they were all the rage until it starting affecting people negatively. I would like the opinion of an actual doctor before I started taking ANYTHING remotely related to lithium, even if it is "natural".
