Hello,

I am currently taking 250mg. of topamax for my cyclothymia (as well as it targets various symptoms for my OCPD and bulimia - compulsions w/ that) It works GREAT for me....however I often have gone off it...and, alas...come back to it! ....but go off due to the HIGH HIGH cost of it...yes high even with insurance. Anyone else been on this and gone off for similiar reasons but then could recommened what they are now on AND LIKE...for me to talk w/ my dr. about? I have been on SO MANY countless meds in the past that each time I try to talk w/ my dr. about switching he tells me that there really isn't anything out there I haven't tried and feels I need to stay. But I feel like come on....there has to be something that compares to topamax without the high cost!
