im not really understanding exactly what bi-plor is, ive looked it up on the internet, but im not clear. ive been diagnosed with depression, post traumatic stress syndrome, ive been depressed almost all my life, im 31, been on every kind of anti-depressant since i was 18. i see forums on all kinds of mental illness, was just wondering if i had it all! i can so relate to everything. from social anxiety, to low self esteem---you name it. bi-polar is something i dont know a whole lot of. has anyone heard of a fairly new drug called celexa? ive been on that for awhile, and seems to help with the edge, first one ive been on without side-effects. it sure is nice to know your not ALONE...

People who are bipolar have bad mood swings. Really high highs and low lows. Mania is the high. Depression is the low. Whats so hard to understand about that? If you have done research on the net it should be easy for you to understand. Have you ever heard of "psychology students disease"? Its not a real disease... it is just a term refering to people who, while studying psychology see themselves or their loved ones as having many characteristics of mental illness. Everyone has symptoms of mental illness at some point in their lives. The difference between actually having the mental illness is how long the symptoms last and also how severe they are. They have to be severe enough to be disserupting your every day life. I'm sure you are just identifying with some things you have in common with certain problems...it doesnt mean you have the problem. Do some research.
