Question - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

Ok.....in your wisdom of bi-polar would you please answer a question for me.

Is anger considerd mania? I know I have depression and gad. However where does this anger come from? That I don't know.

I think that my anger can turn into mania...yes...but i do think that there can be a difference with it as well. It depends on the person....eek i hope that sorta helps

I think that for bipolar II people the closest we usually get to mania is the angry moods. I know that I never get those true manic episodes that are talked about. I just snap into a bad mood out of nowhere and for no reason. For me it's not true anger but I have heard a lot of bipolar II's express it definitely as anger.

Thanks...I don't have any major highs. But I do find myself being angry for no reason. I have seen it metioned some where that anger is a part of bi-polar,but I can't remember where
