Will med side effects go away?

I am taking Depakote and Cymbalta and am in a constant daze. I fall asleep just sitting at my desk. I have insomnia at night. Will these side effects go away with time? I have been on these meds for 8 days.

Re: Will med side effects go away?

Sometimes it takes meds a few days to work their way out. Then again if this continues for another few days and it becomes a severe problem with your lifestyle, you probably should contact your pdoc. They can a) adjust the meds b) change when you take the medication or c) have you stop taking the meds slowly and d) switch you to another medication.

Hang in there. Hope you feel better soon.
