Lamictal and prolactin levels...Breasts KILLING ME! - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

Hi-
New to this board, hope someone can help

. I recently started taking lamictal and I have been slowly increased to 100mg and will keep climbing. Well my breasts are KILLING ME! They feel how they did when I was pregnant, OUCH! I just talked to my sister who is also on the medicine with Albilifide too (sp?) and she said she thinks it might increase prolactin levels. I tried researching it on the internet but coudln't find any info. Does anyone know if this can happen? Is anyone else on Lamictal experiencing this problem? How is the med working for you? Thanks all.

I don't know the science of it but since being on Lamictal my breasts have felt like I was pregnant too. I keep telling my husband I think I'm pregnant because my breast are so sore. Interesting!
