Geodon falling at night - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

My daughter is on Geodon & when she gets up during the night to go to the bathroom on her way back to bed she actually falls asleep. She sd it's like she can't open her eyes & fell last night right into the closet. Has anyone heard of this. She told her councelor & she sd that is very rare lowered her mg to 40.

I have heard of falling asleep taking that and other mood medications..my son has fallen asleep in the bathroom taking 300mgs of seroquel at night before bed.

Well I know when I was on Geodon I would pass out alot because it lowers the blood pressure significantly. My BP went down to like 90/40! I had to be taken off. Maybe she is so whiped out because of this side effect. Has she had her BP checked?
