Mood Swings - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

I lately have been having these weird mood swings to where I get all depressed and stuff. My mom told me when I got out of the mental psychiatric hospital it said on my papers that I had Bi-Polar, but I've yet to see that. Is having these kind of mood swings a side effect of having Bi-Polar? I need some advice and need to know any good medications or which are the best mood stabilizer medications. Please if anyone can help reply to this.

My response is pretty much the same as to the other thread that you posted. You really need to go see a psychiatrist and get your diagnosis clarified and let them decide what meds you need to be on. That's really the only way you're going to figure this out for sure.
