 Seroquel and Prolactin
Has anyone had any issues with seroquel increasing prolactin levels?
I've been on it for a little over a year and for the most part like it. My prolactin is now over 100. I had a MRI last week and get results on Monday. My general doctor ordered the MRI and knows I'm on seroquel. I've read that it was shown to increase prolactin in rats, but not sure about people. I want to be very informed for my appointment. I find that general doctors sometimes are not knowledgeable about psychiatric drugs side effects.
Right now I'm in between pdocs. I have meds for the next 3 months so I have time to look for someone new. If I have to I can contact my last pdoc for advice, but I don't really care for her to much.
I'm currently on seroquel 100 mg, lamictal 200 mg, and lithium 900 mg. Not sure if any of the other drugs could be causing the increase in prolactin.
