Out of Seroquel and the pharmacies are closed

I'm normally not so irresponsible about meds but I ran out of Seroquel and it's late Sunday night and I have no way of getting my perscription refilled. I take both Seroquel and Depakote to treat Biporal II.

I still have pleanty of Depakote but I'm a bit worried that I'm going to freak out at work tomorrow without my Seroquel. Anyone else take Seroquel here and no what it's like to miss a dose?

Should I be worried? Maybe I should call out sick just in case or maybe I'm being paranoid.

Can you call your pdoc and get it first thing tomorrow? Or do you have something else like Klonopin you have sub for a prn?

I don't know what happens when you miss a Seroquel; I've never taken it. I guess you could try it and leave work "sick" if you have to.

I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you.

Seroquel is not one of those drugs where you'll "freak out" if you miss a dose. Just get your refill, refilled at the pharmacy in the morning and pick it up at lunch, or afterwork and take your dose then and you'll be fine. I've been on Seroquel for 8 months, and have missed a dose with no problems. And I'm on a pretty high dose, 450 mgs, with an additional 100mgs prn during the day if needed.

Okay, I guess I wont worry about it. I'll just refil it. I freak out pretty easy though if I don't take my meds and I'm pretty on edge most of the time. I just started taking all of this stuff. I'll probably call out sick though. Just to be safe.
