mood swings, migraines, energy changes

Hi, everyone,

For the last 2 weeks, I've been hypomanic, nonstop activity and maybe 3 hours sleep a night at most.

Sunday, I started sleeping again. I also started feeling exhausted, having headaches, not wanting to do anything or go anywhere just because I felt so tired.

Has anyone noticed headaches (migraines) occuring with the downward mood swing?

I have almost zero energy and made plans for so much I wanted to do. This is getting to me, but there's nothing I can do about it. Called p/doc, but she never called back (she's probably overloaded because of Labor Day).

Would like to hear some feedback. It might make me feel better.

Greetings to all,

Seaturtle

Re: mood swings, migraines, energy changes

Good morning seaturtle. I know how you feel and it is frustrating. I do get headaches - not sure if it is just with the down swing. Perhaps you will hear from your doc today and maybe a med change might be needed. I, like you, make plans when on the upswing and then the down swing comes and it is so difficult to carry through with the plans - I hesitate to make plans, but when you feel so good, it is hard to beleive that you may not be able to everything. I hope that this note finds you doing better and that you have a good day.

Seaturtle (always makes me think of 'Finding Nemo' film:O) )

Yes, I associate migraines with the oncoming of a downward spiral in myself. Hopefully, as yoou recognise this you can be 'aware' and ready (if we are ever ready) for the oncoming mood.

Keep in there until your pdco rings.....

Hugs,
Nut.
