 out of meds, what to do??
I'm having trouble getting a prescription. I haven't been to see my pdoc in months, but made an appointment because I knew my meds were running out. Unfortunately something came up and I had to cancel the appointment at the last minute. Now I'm all out of medication and the doctor can't make me another appointment for over a month. I asked and he won't refill my prescription in the meantime.
So I don't know what to do. I can't just stop taking the medication, I have a life to keep up with! I'm afraid I'll hurt myself if I'm unmedicated for the next 6 weeks. Does anyone have any advice about getting an emergency refill? Will an urgent care clinic write me one month of a prescription to get me by? I tried making an appointment with another doc, but found out that would also take over a month.
