BiPolar and SI

IS this common? I am bi polar and I SI. I'll go months where I'm ok but then periods where it gets bad...Am I odd?

No, I don't think so. In my case, I can go for 1-2 months without experiencing any manic symptoms. Then, out of the blue, I start to feel euphoric with high energy levels, then depression and eventually agitation. One of my friends who has bipolar I has a similar experience.

What is SI?
