| Re: Normal
I know *exactly* what you're going through. I went through the same exact thing after the pdoc was able to level my moods after several days of inpatient hospitalization. Like you, I didn't know what to do with myself and felt uncomfortable feeling one emotion for longer than a few minutes at a time. It was very unsettling.
Since this is a new experience for me, I'm learning how to "feel what I feel" and accept it as is.
My pdoc suggested that when I'm level, I engage in activities I enjoy: reading, writing, taking walks, listening to music, watching a favorite tv docutmentary, etc.
Since I'm still inpatient, I haven't had the opportunity to try this, but once I'm discharged, I plan to put his suggestions to work.
You might want to try this as well. If you do, let us know how it works.
In the meantime, try to enjoy your sense of "normalcy" as best you can. I know it feels strange to you right now, but try to engage yourself in the moment and accept your feelings for what they are.
