Can either of these cause increased sexual drive in a 14 year old? He has been linked to sexual abuse of a younger child with whom he has lived for years, arrested, never had any problem before

i've been on both of these chemicals, though never together. the vyvanse did increase aggresive behaviors in me (sex, anger, shortness of temper). inside the 3 weeks i was treated with it, my marraige ended. my imression of it was that it was TOO much.
i was on abilify several years ago. i spent 2 years on it, then it started giving me anxiety. it too, was a very physical drug.

i wouldn't want to be on that cocktail, personally.
honestly, i'm aghast at the fact your son is.

My 6 year old is on both and I was on both (the vyvanse didn't work for me as well as my concerta does now) and I didn't notice any of this in either him or myself. If anything it's helping control his anger and temper issues. But every medicine is different for everyone. SO what happens in one person may not in another. If you suspect it is causing this in him then talk to his pdoc about switching his meds to something else because that cocktail is not working for him. Good luck!!

thank you, i have talked to his counselor and psychiatrist. No answers.
