Re: how long for abilify to work?

Hi,
I am sorry that I couldn't answer your question but I didn't want you to think that no one cared. Have you tried doing a search? Maybe Katlin or Dreams give you answer

Hope it works for soon!!

Lieve,

It took about 4 or 5 weeks and 1 increase in dosage before I noticed my moods leveling off and being better. How long have you been on it and what dose are you taking?

kat

Re: how long for abilify to work?

Like kat I didn't notice a difference for a few weeks and it took a couple increases to reach a therapeutic level for me. Of course we titrated it down once I was doing better to see how I would handle it and I did fine until recently and needed to increase it again. This time around I've noticed a difference with the increase almost immediately (well in a couple days) which has been really great! I'm now at 25mg.

Re: how long for abilify to work?

I didn't notice a difference until about 3-4 weeks. Also not until 20mg. I am on 30mg now which is the highest fda approved dose.
