Abbreviations

I'm not up on all the abbreviations here on the Bipolar board. I thought some of us could build a little thread here to help others, especially those new to the board. Even though I have been on this board for a while, I don't know what all the abbreviations mean.

Here are some I know -

BP - bipolar
pdoc - psychiatrist
tdoc - therapist, psychologist
dx - diagnosis

Can someone tell me what IP means? And add any others on?

IP means inpatient like if you were an inpatient at a hospital.
