That's a really good question. I found that if I don't take an active role in curbing my eating, I will keep on eating the same way I was while on the medicine---like I've just adjusted to my new eating habit. I get used to the taste of all the sweets I crave on the medicine, and it's like I'm addicted to the sweetness even after the medicine is removed.
you just have to "fool" your brain. If you crave chocolate, then have a bowl of choclate cocoa pebbles, if you just have the munchies, keep fruit, carrotts, celery, pretzles.....non fattenting foods... try to go for not so awful foods. it's not a matter of cravings gooing away, you've become used to eating all the time...you have to break that cycle, it's going to suck for a bit, but you're theonly one who can do it.
