Tony believes medication is not the answer....and after attending his "Date with Destiny" course, I decided to go off of my meds. It was disastrous for me. I am now on week 5 of going back on Lamictal after being med-free for 4 months.
Has anyone used any of his programs?

I've never used any of Tony's programs nor do I plan to.
Research has proven that if bipolar is left untreated, it can lead to progressively worse manic episodes as one ages.
I've been off meds before and the results were not pretty.
I've only stopped taking my meds twice during the 3 years I've been diagnosed.
The first time was when I was manic. I stopped taking my meds for 7 days and before I knew it, my voices, delusions and paranoia came back with a vengeance.
Not too long ago I refused to take Klonopin to help prevent me from rapid cycling into agitation. I was so upset about having to be on meds that I decided not to take Klonopin at all. Let's just say it was a bad decision on my part and I'll never do that again.
From now on, I plan to be 100% med-compliant no matter how I feel about meds.
