TIA- mini stroke - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

Well besides bipolar I have had a TIA or mini stroke.....one day last week I awoke to the room spinning.....it is very scary..... so went to the dr to find out what that was and my dr. said it was a mni-stroke............ so I cant drive as I dont know when I will start spinning............

.Has any one had this experience..... I wont let this get me down..

I've never experienced a mini stroke myself, but I know people who have.

I think you're doing the right thing by taking extra precautions to be on the safe side.

Please take care of yourself and keep up the positive attitude.

I haven't had that experience, and I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. It must be very frightening.
Can the doctor give you medication to prevent it happening again?
Congratulations on not letting it get you down. Sometimes it seems as if life has thrown us just one too many curve balls.
