I would like to know what the side effects you experience for those of you taking Geodon. I also take Depkote with this.

The biggest side effect for me is a constant runny nose.

I take Geodon, and the only side effect that I have really noticed is not being as hungry as I normally am. A good side effect in my opinion. Other than that, there are no side effects that I am experiencing. Hope that helps.....

I've taken Geodon in the past and didn't experience any side effects. One of the nice things about Geodon is that it's weight-neutral unlike some other antipsychotics/mood stabilizers.

Now that I think about it, I was given Geodon via injection when I was IP 3 years ago and I felt extremely tired as a result, but I think this may have been due to the high dosage because once the sedation wore off, I didn't have any further problems with other side effects.

It made me have manic symptoms that culminated in hallucinating--Pdoc said it's an unusual, not documented effect, but the drug manufacturer has had about 100 cases reported.

That's not to say anything negative about the drug, anything can cause weird problems in a small number of people, just to warn you that if you see any signs of the beginning of mania to do something immediately (I didn't because I chalked it up to ambien withdrawal).
