I take Tegretol not for seizures, but for mood management.

I was wondering if I could still donate even with Tegretol in my system.

You are fine. You can still donate whole blood or plasma if you are otherwise healthy.

You might want to check with the blood donation people. I used to donate until I was put on lithium, and then I couldn't donate ever again. Their screening process is usually simple, yet thorough. Be sure and let them know any/all drugs you take, regardless of the reason you take them, and they will be able to let you know if you're blood is "safe".
