Hmmm.... I don't have any anxiety over different meds, but I haven't had to switch since I started in April 2010. I have Bipolar II & take a small dose of Klonopin, which is an anti-anxiety med, Lamictal specifically used to treat Bipolar, & Seroquel, a mood stabilizer. I do have a fear in the back of my head that someday my meds will stop doing the trick & I will have to screw around with trying something else. I have heard that's not exactly fun. I am afraid of what it would do to my marriage & parenting skills.
My girls were 7 & 5 when I was diagnosed. They have a simple understanding of my disease, can tell if I may have forgotten to take my meds & know that my evening meds sometimes make me bitchy. I may be bitchy, buuut I am emotionally stable & that is the most important thing to me.
