I'm going to switch Birth Control Pills...... - Birth Control Message Board

I am going to switch bcps, but want to take a couple months off so that I can lose the weight I gained from my current pill. My question is: Should I finish off the pack I am taking right now, or can I just stop it where I am?? I am supposed to be getting my period next week. I would really like to just stop it today but want to make sure that is ok. I would appreciate input.....

You can stop whenever you like. But I'd finish it off so you know exactly when your period will come. Also when you are off the pill your periods are going to be a lil screwed up so don't be shocked if you skip periods.
