period after birthcontrol - Birth Control Message Board

i recently stopped taking birth control because i suspected i maybe pregnant. i stopped taking it mid way through the pack....its been 5 days. do you normally bleed or spot after stopping mid way through the pack? nothing has happned yet. no period, no spottting, bleeding, or any PMS signs...should i be concerned?

the other alternative is that i'm pregnant...

any answers or experiences would be helpful.

Everyone reacts differently. Most women spot or begin to bleed because they are having a withdrawal from the hormone. Your body may just not be reacting yet....and may take alittle longer to get a period. Maybe you should try a home pregnancy test just to be sure.

do many people experience EXTENDED bleeding? i actually started spotting today...i'm worried that it will be like when i first started bcp. when i first started, i had a really really long light period...like a month long!! i'm afraid that if i start bcp again, i will bleed again...

anyone with any experience with this??????????
