no "blood" period? - Birth Control Message Board

i started my period yesterday (or so i though) and so far its been no blood(k i know its not really blood but ill just say it is lol) just (god this sounds gross) jello like clots sorta browny in colour. ive been on alesse for about 3 or 4 months and ive never had anything like this, even before when i was on depo like 2 years ago. anyone had anything like this?

I would assume it could be something to do with the pill. Or, it could be just a weird period.I once had a period that was all brown stuff just like you are talking about. The next month it was completely normal again. Brown is usually old blood so perhaps the pill didn't build up your lining enough this month. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless the same thing happens next cycle.
