if its your request then she'll put you on it. I was having irregular periods like sometimes twice a month. I never made it 28days. And i was a real heavy bleeder with extremely bad cramps. The pill made it so i have that regular period, the blood flow is a bit less, and the cramps arent really a problem anymore!
Also, when I started, my doctor gave be like 3months worth one brand (samples) to try it out, then i was able to go back, tell her what i thought and so on. i was able to try a couple different pills w/samples. so run that by your doctor it'll save ya some money, unless you have good insurance! good luck!
