hi...i've posted on here before, and i have another question! ok i was wondering if there is a posibility that i could be pregnant ..i've been on ortho tri cyclen lo for 3 months now and i've not missed taking the pill once..i take the pill at 4:00 p.m. every day... there has been a few times where i have forgotten for a few hours and the latest i have taken one is at 6:30 p.m. i usually use condoms with my b/f when we have sex...but about 2 weeks ago we had unprotected sex and he ejaculated in me. We've both been worried about it...i feel like i have symptoms of being pregnant, such as; i have being urinating a lot!!! i have cramps, i feel a little dizzy....or could all of these symptoms be b/c of me stressing out over it too much???
please help

I doubt that you are pregnant. You have been taking the pill like you should be. I am also on OTC lo and have been having unprotected sex for like 1 1/2 half. I wouldn't worry too much about it. The pill is 99% effective so there is a very slim chance you are pregnant. Just relax, sometimes stress can cause these symptoms.

It sounds unlikely that you are pregnant since you've been taking the pill around the same time everyday for months now. Many couples don't use condoms at all when they're on the pill.

As for feeling the symptoms, you're probably so stressed out that you're making yourself think you're pregnant! Frequent urination is usually a symptom later in pregnancy not upon conceiving.

You're probably paranoid/scared of getting pregnant - I know I get that way sometimes! Just reassure yourself that you're a smart pill user, and the chances of getting pregnant are slim, especially from just that one unprotected time.

i think you should be fine. although i use the ortho evra patch, my boyfriend & i have unprotected sex everytime & i still have yet to become pregnant *knock on wood*

anyways....if you haven't had your period at all, it's probably just stress, or your body is trying to get adjusted to the hormones from the pill...it took me trying several different birth control methods before i found one that worked well....& like you...i'd go for months without bleeding or i'd bleed one day really light, or somethign like that. i wouldn't stress too much over it, but the best thing to do if you don't start in a few weeks is i'd just go to your gyno and ask them what is going on....more than likely it's nothing! but best of luck!
