I am just curious thats all. I have been on the patch for 8 months now, i just started taking Ortho Tri- Cyclen Lo (patch wasnt working for me). I started the pill today i took 2 pills today so i guess i am a sunday start. I was just wondering does it really matter if u take the pill at the same time every day? I would think as along as u take it u should be fine. Is there a high risk of pregnancy if u take it at diffrent times eachday? Im sorry if i am annoying i just dont know to much about the pill thats all. Please write back thanks.

Can I ask why you stopped using the patch? Cuz I just started. Was it not working or did you just not like it?

Yes there is a higher risk if you don't take it around the same time each day.

It doesn't have to be the same exact time everyday but it should be around the same time everyday. Give yourself about a 4 hour window that you are sure you can take the pill in. I usually take mine before bed regardless of what time it is and I've been good so far!
