I have read a lot of the different posts about Yasmin, and i was switched to Yasmin after using the Nuvaring for over a year and i am noticing a lot of discharge and i'm concerned. I just started it and have been on it for a week so i was just wondering if that was a normal side effect. Also how effective is the pill when you switch from the nuvaring to the pill is it right away? Thanks!
You aren't protected right away, either. You have to abstain for at least a week, although many professionals recommend abstaining (or using a back-up method) for a full cycle month.
