Nuva Ring? - Birth Control Message Board

I'm currently on Kariva (generic for Mircette) and love it, except I'm having pretty bad break through bleeding. I'm at the end of my second pack, and have had some form of BTB every single day since I started!! I've heard great things about Nuva Ring and am thinking about trying it since I can't take the BTB from Kariva.

Has anyone had BTB problems with the ring? Do you think I should wait to finish my 3rd pack to see if the BTB goes away? Its just very annoying (and I've ruined some of favorite panties, haha)!!

I've never had break through bleeding w/the Nuvaring. I've been on it for 7 months now. I love it!!! My periods last about 3 days.

I have had btb but I seem to be in the minority. It's gotten better with time, and otherwise I LOVE Nuvaring. Good luck!
