Depo screwed me up really bad. I went on it after having a child and stayed on it for 2 years. I stopped to try to have another child. Two years later, my period still had not returned, so I saw a specialist and began Clomid, got pregnant 4 months later. For the first 5 years after Depo, those 4 months of Clomid were the ONLY months I had a period!!! Now, almost 9 years later, I get more periods, but only a handful a year, if that. I have also been diagnosed with PCOS (I am 30 years old)!!!! PCOS usually manifests itself at the onset of puberty. I never had an irregular period before using Depo. I believe my PCOS is the result of using Depo. Do a search........you will find many other women out there who are dealing with EXACTLY what I am dealing with.....PCOS after Depo.
