Just a quick question...
I have been on Lo Ovral for about 3 or 4 months now. Use a condom everytime I have sex as well. I just got done with my period and started my new pack of active pills this past SUNDAY. I then had sex on Monday, with a condom. My question is, am I protected on that Monday that I had sex? Is that *1 week waiting period until you are fully protected* only applicable to those who are first time users of the pill, meaning they are starting their very first month on birth control? Because I have been on it for a few months...so I'm ok right?

Yep, you were fully protected, so long as you:
a) took all 21 active pills correctly
b) did not take a break of more then seven days.

If so, then you're fine.

ok thanks!! oh just another quick question, why is it that after I have sex, prob. like a day after, I feel weird inside and kind of crampy? I don't think it's my bf hitting my cervix because nothing hurts during sex, its always like a day or two after sex I feel crampy and a little gassy. weird!!?
