Birth control and high cholestrol
Has anyone heard of these side effects with birthcontrol?

just blot clot and maybe hypertention.

Yes I have heard of this, I'm not sure which bc pills may cause this or aggravate an already high cholesterol level. I am on the pill and I also have high cholesterol but I'm not sure if it is directly related to the pill.

i think my friend's doctor put her on ortho lo because of her high cholesterol.

I've never heard of this side effect with the pill. However, I do know that the pill can interfere with the results of blood tests for cholesterol, thyroid, etc. Just something to think about if you're thinking of getting any tests done.
