Question about birth control use

Okay, I've been using Kariva for about 7 months and this may I missed two pills and started bleeding early. As soon as I realized I missed two pills I took one that morning and one that night (this was in week 3). In June, however, I did not have a period and my partner and I also use a condom. Well in July I did the exact same thing I missed two pills in week 3 and my partner and I this time had unprotected sex but I did take a pill that night. I called my doctor the next day and she gave me Plan B. I did not start in July except for the bleeding from not taking my pills. But I'm wondering since I didn't start my period the last time I forgot to take my pills if I don't start in August should I be worried???
Thanks

Read your package insert, but I believe when you miss a pill (or 2), you're supposed to take 2 at the same time. That probably didn't affect anything, but it's good to become aquainted with how your supposed to take your pill when problems arise. Also, some pills have different rules for missed pills depending on which week you miss on. Read up on that, too. That literature isn't just there because it has to be; it's also there to educate the patient.

Any period irregularity probably is blamed on the emergency contraception. It can make your cycle irregular. You're probably fine.
