well first let me tell you that you have made one of the best decisions ever. as far as when you can start a new form of bc, you should be able to start when ever you are ready, I just got off of the depo myself, and I got on the pill at the same time my last shot was due. As far as bleeding goes, everyone is different and it also depends on how long you were on depo. I was on it for almost 4 years and I started bleeding at about 7 months after my last shot. they say it can take anywheres between 6 to 18 months to return to your cycle. hope I have helped you.
