Ok, so i stayed up really late last night, and accidently took my birth control pill insted of my vitamin. I was very upset, and made myself throw it up. Now i know thats not right to make myself throw up, but it was desprate measures. I usally take my bcp at 8pm everyday, should i use my backup pack and take the same pill from that pack?? Should I use condoms and other forms of contraceptives??? I need advice PLEASE HELP THANKS!
Tonight take a pill from your back-up pack. That's wonderful that you have one, too! They're incredibly useful in situations like these.
If you take a pill tonight from the back-up pack, then no pill has been missed, and thus no back-up contraception such as condoms is needed, unless when you induced vomiting it was less then three hours after you swallowed last night's pill (ie not the one you took by mistake, the one you were meant to take).

Thanks so much!! but I have one more question, my mom is freaking out claiming that i can't be sure i threw it up, and says it is bad to take another one today, is she just being paranoid? is it ok???

It's fine to take another one today. At the most, you might feel a little bit nauseous, but I doubt it since you took the other one so long ago as it is. You'll be fine. Just take a pill tonight as you normally would, only from your spare pack, and then keep taking them as normal.
Ok sorry!! just to double check what i am suppose to do with this situation.. ok so yesterday i took the normal one at 8pm, and then accidently i took todays pill at 3am, now... do i take the back up one for today at 8pm?????? right? I am such a mess at this kinda stuff!! THanks soooooooo much for all of your help, it is really calming my nerves!!!!
