I've been on Ovcon-35 for 8 months. Last night, I went to the pharmacy to pick up my pills. Apparently, the company that makes it has changed the colors of the pills to "light peach" for the actives and to "white" for the placebos. According to the company, they're SUPPOSED to be the exact same pills (same hormones, etc.) just different colored pills now. However, generics are also supposed to be the same as the brand names, but yet alot of people seem to have totally different side effects with the generic than with the brand, because of "fillers" in the generics. While this is supposed to be still the brand name of Ovcon, I'm a little concerned about the "color change" because I am very sensitive to side effects. I'd like to hear from anyone who has tried this "new" Ovcon.
I am picking up my pills tonight so I will inform you when I get them. That's so strange why they would just CHANGE the colors of the pills. Does everything else about the pills look the same? That makes me kind of nervous. I'm the kind of person that MAKES the pharmacy show me they're giving me the right pills by giving me all the info and the pack they came in. I live in a small town and it makes me nervous when they just put the pills in the pack and give it to me like that. They used to not give me ANY info. when I got my pills, so I started demanding it. haha! anyways, I will def. tell you when I get mine.
