I have been on Yasmin for 2 weeks. I have had spotting/btb the whole time. I'm going on vacation and didn't want to be bleeding. So I told my ob this and she told me if I had 'very heavy flow' to do the cascade. First of all I'm having a hard time figuring out what a 'very heavy flow' means. I guess it's a personal thing. Everyone's different. Is it the amount of pads/tampons you are going through? I'm having some clotting this morning. I don't use tampons but I guess I will have to so I don't have an accident when I'm on the plane or during my vacation.
Anyway, she gave me a schedule for it. 4 pills a day for 2 days, 3 pills a day for 3 days, 2 pills a day for 5 days then 1 pill a day after that. Have any of you heard of this? I know all those hormones can make me sick but she said it's better than bleeding heavily.
Help, anyone?????
