switching pills

I recently switched birth control pills from cyclen to alesse. I am into my third week on them and my breasts are painful and swollen. I have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative. I also have no reason to believe that I am pregnant my husband and I use other forms of protection. I am thirty years old. Has anyone had this before and if so could it just be from the diffferent hormones?

Re: switching pills

it could definitely be from the pill. that happened to me a few months ago & i saw my dr it was so bad! she said its normal & it should go away by the time you start a new pack...& from what i remember, it did.
