late periods on BC - Birth Control Message Board

Ive been taking Kariva, its a generic form for about a year now. And lately my periods are later and later. Its not thursday and I am on my last row of pills, and I hve YET to have my period..my last one was spotting for 2 days and then I was done. I dont know if its because I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and they said the medication they would give me would effect the efficiency of the pill. But Im still kind of worried...help??

Sometimes periods come on various days, and sometimes they don't come at all, even on birth control. However, if you don't get your period by the time you're to start your new pack of pills, take a pregnancy test.
