Going off pill/pregnancy?

I've been talking Tri-Cyclen Lo for about a year now and my boyfriend and I decided we are going to try and concieve. I stopped talking the pill about a week ago and was wondering how long it would take for it to totally wear out of my system, if that is how it works, or; am I able to get pregnant any time after stopping the pill? Any input would be great. Thanks alot :)

depends on the individual. it takes some people several months. other people miss one pill and end up pregnant. my bestfriend got married in may and decided to stop taking the pill shortly after. her son was born in march...about ten months later. sorry i can't give you a definite answer.

It all depends on the womens body. You may get pregnant this month or it may take months. I was on ortho lo and got pregnant while taking it so don't worry. I think you have a good chance of pregnancy just by not taking it.

In my experience, you should wait a couple months after comming off birth control before getting pregnant. However, I stopped using the patch and was pregnant within the same month. It just depends on the person. All I have to do is breathe in the same room as my hubby and get pregnant.
