side effects - Birth Control Message Board

I've been taking BC for about 2 weeks now. I'm not sure if these are side effects...but, I've been having these spells where I feel sad and unmotivated, I'll be feeling fine and then all of a sudden I feel blue for a little while. Also, I just haven't really had an appetite lately. I eat just the same as I did before I started BC, but it just seems as though food doesn't really appeal to me anymore. Are these side effects?

Most likely these are side effects. They should go away after a few cycles. If the side effects don't go away or worsen after a few cycles, consult your physician. You may do better with a different combination of hormones.
